Heel veel eetgelegenheden en shops langs de prachtige kade. Zeilschool en club op 50 meter, met dagelijks mogelijkheid een zeiltocht mee te maken of zelf te zeilen. In de zomermaanden zijn er op het strand verschillende Beach bars. Er is een vlotte verbinding met openbaar vervoer naar alle richtingen. Kavala-Xanthi-Thessaloniki. Mogelijkheid tot veel excursies in de omgeving : o.a. kajak en rafting in de Nestos.(zie ) Prachtige wandelroutes in en om de Nestos en het Rodophi gebergte. De oude steden Kavala en Xanthi, de oude stad Phillipion.
Op 40 min. met de ferry naar het eiland Thassos. Een eiland gekend om zijn prachtige baaien, groene natuur en zijn witte marmergroeven.
